Serving Christ by Serving the People of Tarleton State University

From the Campus Minister for New Students

Welcome to the Wesley Foundation at Tarleton State University.   As a new student, you are beginning a very important chapter in your life.  The opportunities to acquire knowledge and to grow as both a Christian and a citizen are all laid out in front of you.   What you do will make all the difference for you (and your faith) and for the university.

You will find a lot of possible outlets for your time and your interests.  You will find student groups for many different purposes and your associations will open many doors for you.   I want to invite you to not forget your spiritual relationships while here.  It is sometimes hard to remember while you are in the university, but God is here, too.   I hope you will come by to visit and explore our building and our activities.  We and the other campus ministries will do all we can to help you keep your spiritual connections alive.

If there is an activity you do not see on this web, but would like to help create, then let us know.   There may be others with a similar interest and no one to get the ball rolling!

Above all else, stop by from time to time.   Join in the meals and other activities as you may wish.  There is a lot we can accomplish together for the good of our world.  We are here to serve you and with you!   I look forward to getting to know you

By the way, you can visit my blogs at throughthewilderness.wordpress.com.   I also am found through the "Holy Leftovers" on the site The New Twelfth Gate Coffeehouse.
